It is not difficult to modify the code and append something to the link, but you would have to renew these changes after every plugin update. (Unless I introduce it as a new option to the default plugin … if you don’t need the new feature immediately.)
Just to make sure that I understand you correctly: Where does the “40” come from? Do you want to add exactly the same “/?s=+&cat=40” to every tag link from that accordion, or do you want different categories depending on the tag? In the first case it would be possible as a new default option that you add to the shortcode. If you can enter on each of the mentioned pages “videos”, “articles” etc. different shortcodes, then you would simply add a different number for each “cat=” so that you set the right link for each page manually.
If you need to generate the number like “40” automatically, it would be more complicated. (E.g. using the page title, …)
40 is the categories ID number. Its used in search to narrow down results to that specific category.
I have category ID #’s (that WordPress auto generates)
Videoes = 40
Articles = 480
Total Solutions (special articles) = 507
Q & A = 482
on each page video, article, total solution, Q&A. I would like to have accordion that when clicked on tag just goes to the search of category from page you where just on.
“so if on videoes page I want /?s=+&cat=40 added, then on Q&A I want /?s=+&cat=482 added.
I am pretty sure I can do it via html but did not know if there was a easier way with in your code.
thank you,
If video, article, total solution and Q&A are (ordinary, not archive, tag, category, …) pages and if you have the possibility to use a different shortcode on each page, then I could plan for a new version a parameter that lets you add something to the end of the link.
ya they are just pages. Let me know I know bosses want to go live next month. I don’t know if I can make it in time.
I have to hire someone to problem shoot a bunch of things I can’t figure out.
I think it can be out very soon, just need to do some other work first. Matter of a few days.
The option is available in the latest version.
