Changing the category of an existing post

  • If I’ve posted and forgotten to select a category for the post how do I go back and change it. When I try to edit the post it doesn’t allow that option. Any ideas?
    Thanks.

  • It should do … the edit screen should look identical to the Write Screen once you have selected a post.
Tried a hard refresh of the screen ? (CTRL and F5)

Now this is bloody weird. It’s not there so I try your suggestion…no change. Decide to try and produce a screenshot and switch to fullscreen mode and the categories list appears! It stays there when I switch back but when I try to edit another post it vanishes again until I switch to full screen…as I said bloody weird!
btw I’m using Avant if thats anything to do with it and I’ve heard all the stuff about switching to Firefox but I’ve tried both and I really like Avant.

Hey, that IS weird! I have the same thing happen. When I go to full screen my categories appear, too. When I turn full screen off, they disappear. I’m using IE v6.x on WIN XP
