# Changing the category admin area

 * Hello all, Thanks for the help.
 * I would like to change the way categories can be selected on the post admin page
   page. Instead of choosing categories by check boxes, I would like to have a combination
   of check boxes and drop downs. Also I would like to spread it out…make the category
   area longer. Are there any plugins out there that allow for a more robust category
   selection area on the admin page? I haven’t been able to find anything. Thanks
   again.
