I’m making my first site and I didn’t know how to describe the issue to search it up, but I wanted to know if there was any way to change the color of the white part which you place widgets on and edit when using the default template for a page. I am using Hestia and Elementor. I’ve tried other page templates but they get rid of my header. Sorry for what may be an obvious question.

I know it’s a vague description so here’s a picture of what I mean. Thank you!

  • Not quite sure which you are referring to. Are you talking about when you are in the admin Dashboard? If so, are you creating a post, creating a page, or just adding a widget to the widget area (Appearance → Widgets)?

Or are you referring to a widget area on your site that your visitors can see, like a sidebar or footer area that contains widgets?

OK, I just watched the video on using Elementor, and now I understand what you’re saying. Elementor’s use of the word “widget” is different than WordPress’ use of the word. What you should do is post your question on the Elementor support page because your question is pretty specific to Elementor.

Ah I see! Thank you for letting me know 🙂
