 * Hi,
 * I wanted to change my theme background from a paper look to probably just white.
   I definitely want to change the blog text body backgrounds. I tried the Background
   Manager plug-in and “Adding Theme Support’. Under Appearance I do not have a 
   Background option.
 * It looks like there’s PHP code involved but I can’t figure this out. It seems
   like it should be easy to change backgrounds.

 * in general, for fundamental formatting problems, try working with a browser inspection
   tool like Firebug to identify where, for instance, the background gets defined.
 * as your theme is not from [http://wordpress.org/themes/](http://wordpress.org/themes/)
   it is not supported by this forum.
 * try contacting the theme’s developer/vendor for support.
