  • I’d like to display my site logo in the admin bar for all users instead of their avatar, but haven’t been able to figure it out; does anyone have any suggestions?

  • You can add links via

So examine the code and change it as you want.

This is NOT multiSite specific though, so I’m moving it to where more people will see it 😀

    Thanks for your response 🙂

I’ve already successfully customized the links in the bar… the problem I’m running into is the code in the link you provided doesn’t reference the avatar’s source jpg and I’m not sure how to get to it. All I want to do is make it point to a local version of my logo which is sitting on my server…

Or, I’d even be happy with adding a new menu category that just displays my logo before the avatar. Thing is, as far as I can tell any new link I create just displays its title as text; there’s no option for an image.

I think it’s a function call that pulls in the users Gravatar, so you may have to view source and inspect elements and google seriously :/ it doesn’t look like anyone’s coded it in yet.
