  • Somehow, the text color of all my posts has changed. It happened out of the blue, so I’m mystified. It should be black, but it is now green.

    This is where I thought I would find it:

    body {
    background: #777 url(images/back.gif) fixed;
    color: #000;
    font-size: 11px;
    font-family: Verdana, Helvetica, Arial, Sans-Serif;
    margin: 0px 0px 0px 0px;

    However, there is no green there that I can see. I cannot see anyplace else in the stylesheet where the body is defined.

    I’d really, really appreciate some help here!

    Thank you.

  • Here is my site, if it’ll help:

    Validate, remove ALL the inline style (like open font tags which are never closed…) and you should be fine.

    Thank you, Moshu. Sorry to be a pain, but could you please elaborate? I’m new at this.

    Thank you again.

    If you are new – NEVER use any kind of inline style; the kind of crap you put in your left sidebar:
    <font COLOR.... etc. etc.
    Especially do NOT use it if you forget to close it with a </font>. Not closing it means the colour will be applied to EVERYTHING that comes after… including your posts.
    So, again, if you proclaim yourself “new at this” – don’t touch the code or learn how to do it. It is that simple.

    Yes, I see where the problem is–in my RSS widget. I’ll get it fixed.

    Thank you for the “support,” for the kind words and the encouragement.
