Changing text background

    Hi-

    I have just created my first ever WordPress blog and am using the Expound theme.

    I would like to change the body text background color from white to either a light grey or ideally the same dotted grey pattern used for the featured posts on the main introduction page.

    I am unfortunately brand new to this so would appreciate any detailed step-by-step instructions. I have managed to change the font face using the Edit CSS tool, but that is it so far.
