I am working on putting up my blog, but am having some difficulties. Is there any way that I can have a static home page without having the page name show up at the top of the entry?

    You can check here: http://www.christiandate101.com

As you can see, the home page has “ChristianDate101” in red on the top (like a regular post), but I’d like to change that (without changing the name of the page)and put a space inbetween the title and the entry.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks

  • by changing the name of the page, do you mean how you link to the page, and what displays in the browser window? If so, that info is in the page SLUG, not the TITLE. You can edit the title with spaces without affecting the slug.

What I’m trying to do is have the navigation bar stay the same, but change what shows up in the page itself.

For example, if I change the name of the “about me” page (in the naviagation menu) to “about Chris”, “about Chris” will show up in red letters at the top of the page. How do I get it so I can have “about me” in the navigation menu and “about Chris” in red letters at the top of the page?
