Changing space/margins around text content

  • Hi guys,

I am kinda new to wordpress and trying to sort things out by the great posts in forums. One thing I am struggling to find and solve is: How do you change the space around text?

My website is still in progress (http://www.salutberlin.de) and I think it looks like I am wasting a lot of space. Is there a way to move the text box further right and change the spacing between title and the content box?

    Thanks for your help!

  • hi this is a default twentyeleven styling
the first thing is to make a child theme for your twentyeleven
and in style css making padding and margin as per your requirements

oh, guess i have screwed up the default template then :-s

    thanks for your reply robin

the best option is to go for child themes if you want to make changes to design/layout
always saves you work from when the theme decides to come out with an update version
