[Resolved] Changing site name in browser

  • I want to change the name of my site so that it shows in the browsers. The name in the site is Zebracorn Art Journeys but the browser and search engines still read Zebracorn Graphics.

Do I need to go outside of WP and go into the database? PHP or SQL?

  • Just googled you and looks fine in the results now. If you want to change the sitename you do this in Settings > General but it looks like you have already done this 😉

Perhaps it’s called the Favorites menu. Whatever name is showing in the browser when people look for me.

I think the Favorites menu is held in each individual computer so it might be that. I just need to keep the name Zebracorn “Graphics” from coming up in browsers.

Browser still reads Zebracorn Graphics. How do I change it?

Are you using an SEO plugin? Many have a setting for that.

If this is about search engine results – that takes time to change. Look up Google Webmaster Tools on how to manage your site on Google.

    Solved. 🙂

    Thanks MoghillPat and WPyogi.
