    Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me change the color and size of the site description? I keep searching forums but have been unsuccessful. I have a Simple Custom CSS plugin that I've been using.

    Here is a link to my site: http://www.elizabethsensky.com

    Thank you!

    Generally speaking you can modify:

    #header .logo .site-description {
      padding: 0;
      margin: 0;
      font-size: 14px;
      font-style: italic;
      color: #d7c1c6;
    }

    The above should be added to custom CSS and make the changes there. Don't modify the theme files directly.

    Thank you, that worked! I'm also wondering if you could tell me how to lower the site description a bit so that it doesn't overlap the site title. It is difficult to read the tagline.

    Using your custom CSS plugin add the following to the code above:

    margin-top: 10px;

    Try changing that margin to:

    margin-top: 40px;

    Adjust as you prefer.

    The margin-top needs to be inside the brackets -

    #header .logo .site-description {
      padding: 0;
      margin: 0;
      font-size: 20px;
      font-style: italic; bold;
      color: #CCFFFF;
      margin-top: 60px;
    }
