 * I’d like to change the background colour of the sidebar on my page but can’t 
   find a way to do this on the customisation – is it possible with this theme?

 * Hi Joel,
    there is no option to change the sidebar color in the customizer.
 * But you can easily change the color via CSS.
    You can use a plugin like: [https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/](https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/)
   to add your own custom CSS. To change the background color of the sidebar you
   can use the following code: `#secondary{background: #ff0000 !important;}`
