    Alright, so my domain space expired and so i went with a different provider and backed up my website to switch servers.
    When i uploaded my old files, created a new my_sql wrdp1 file and username/password, i then proceeded to change my config.php file
    I can log in, and i still have my old plug-ins and themes. What i am missing is my posts and pages and created widgets and such that made up my website.
    What i didn’t do was create a wordpress export file, because i didn’t realize this until looking around trying to figure this out.
    Am i screwed, or is there some way of recovering my posts and pages?

    No, you’re not screwed .. yet. Your posts and pages are in your database. So use the default theme first, if the posts do no appear there, then check your database, you should find the posts in your wp_posts table. You mentioned that you have all your plugins, so for the widgets, if you recall what you placed where … there should be no problem.
    {edit – also, use the WP version you were using in the old server and ensure that your posts and pages are showing in default theme before upgrading, if need be}

    Posts and pages are entirely stored in your DB.

    If you have not made a WP export or a DB backup, the only way these can be retrieved is by contacting your earlier host.
