# Changing server – icons missing

 * I developed a development site on a dev server named dev1.pinncomp.com
 * I am wanting to move it to pinncomp.com (points to [http://www.pinncomp.com](http://www.pinncomp.com)
   as well).
 * However I have some issues… When I go into the DB and change the dev1.pinncomp.
   com to just pinncomp.com it will show on the pinncomp.com site but on the [http://www.pinncomp.com](http://www.pinncomp.com)
   it shows without the icons (such as the arrow), socials icons and icons for info
   boxes, etc.
 * Seems to be an issue with the folder paths but no matter what I try I cannot 
   get this to work.
 * So I created a brand new site on pinncomp.com, through an image with an icon 
   on it and typed the [http://www.pinncomp.com](http://www.pinncomp.com). Same 
   thing – no image showing on the [http://www.pinncomp.com](http://www.pinncomp.com)
   but shows on pinncomp.com
 * With this I did not move the server.
 * So, how is this issue resolved? Seems like a wordpress or a theme issue going
   on here that I cannot fix.

 * I wish I could edit this post but basically the issue is
 * icons seemed linked to the URL and the file path is messed up. How is it possible
   to have the file path for both the site and the site with www. in it?

    the
   icons load but you have some errors in fonts : 1 : These two addresses are not
   available (in both without www and with www) [http://www.pinncomp.com/fonts/virtue_icons.woff](http://www.pinncomp.com/fonts/virtue_icons.woff)

   2 – and it’s better to use pixel or percent instead of dpi (dpi in css is css
   inch not real word inch)

 * I mean that files are not available at all (with or without www – 404 Not found)

 * This has something to do with the paths. Your CSS isn’t able to locate the folders
   where your font icons are in, thus, the error 404.
