  • I am busy with a template that is using a static-search.php in which the code is included of the search field on top of my page ( Since I am Dutch, I want to change ‘search’ into ‘zoek’ and go to ‘vind’. I have changed the code below by changing the values, but when I submit to the changed, the text in the search field and on the button disappear instead of changing. Does anyone know how to solve this easily? I am using a them with a Cherry theme as parent. Code of the php file is:

    <?php /* Static Name: Search */ ?>
    <!-- BEGIN SEARCH FORM -->
    <?php if ( of_get_option('g_search_box_id') == 'yes') { ?>
    	<div class="search-form search-form__h hidden-phone clearfix">
    		<form id="search-header" class="navbar-form pull-right" method="get" action="<?php echo home_url(); ?>/" accept-charset="utf-8">
    			<input type="text" name="s" placeholder="<?php echo theme_locals('search'); ?>" class="search-form_it"> <input type="submit" value="<?php echo theme_locals('go'); ?>" id="submit" class="search-form_is btn btn-primary">
    <?php } ?>
    <!-- END SEARCH FORM -->

    Where did you download this theme from?

    From I have the same problem with the read more-button below a blog post. Need to change that into “lees meer”.

    I’m sorry but as you are using a non-WPORG theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from here.

    Oh sorry, didn’t realize that. Will find the answer somewhere else then. Thanks anyway!
