 * Possible dumb question…
 * I have a multi-author WordPress blog. One of my authors is leaving the crew. 
   We want to keep her work in our archives, but not list her as an “author” on 
   the sidebar (Author Widget).
 * If I change her role to “contibutor” will I lose the posts she has previously
   written as both an “Editor” and “Administrator”?

 * No you won’t lose that author’s posts if you change their Role.
 * Please know that if you do delete a User, you are allowed to assign that Users’s
   post to another User, regardless of the Role of the deleted user or the Role 
   of the ‘new user’.
