[Resolved] Changing "Read the rest of this entry" wording

  • I took a brief look through the .php coding and couldn’t find where to change the wording for the link to the full post for the <!--more--> tag.

Is there a way to change the “Read the rest of this entry” wording?

    Thank you.

  • without a theme or a link…hard to say

    http://codex.wordpress.org/Customizing_the_Read_More

anyone know is there is any plugin to have a library of different type of more tags.. I mean i can choose what to display basis what I feel like..

I mean in first post i want to display read more about this post”

and in second post i want to display “like so far.. read the rest..”

and third one “jump in to read more”

    something like that..

and to the OP yeah the theme name would be of great help

    that would be sweet

    Sam,

    The theme is minimalism.

    kuld33p,

In the link that Sam posted, there is a description on how you can have a custom “read more” tag for each post.

In the visual editor (or HTML editor), simply type <!--more Your Custom Tag -->.

Using your own examples, you would enter <!--more Read more about this post --> or <!--more Like so far.. read the rest.. -->.

woow.. thanks buddy.. its simple and great..
