Changing Post Status Through "if" Statement

    Hey guys,

    I am exploring a concept where my wordpress blog would show posts in daft vs published mode when a certain if parameter is true.

    To be more specific – I have a tv channel website (canal-en-vivo.com) and I am looking to set posts status to draft, when something inside an if {statement} is true. The {statement} would make reference to an outside file to confirm that the channel is indeed streaming.

    Any ideas on how to implement this concept?
