changing post editor buttons

    I am new. I want to change the post editor buttons so have downloaded the following plugins:
    c editor plugin
    TinyMCEadvanced plugin
    WP super edit plugin I still cannot get my post editor buttons to change. I have cleared the cache many times and read forums posts but still cannot figure this out.

    Is there some additional code I need to add? if so where do I add it?
    Please go step by step
