 * I know you can buy an addon allowing for multiple custom posts / names – However
   all i’d like to do is change from ‘Places’ to another name – I don’t need multiple.
 * Is there anyway to do this without needing the addon?

 * not from the wordpress back end, you would have to modify the plugin core files
   and that would make your upgrade process a bit more complicated.

   core files.
