  • Hi,

Does anyone know how to put your own pictures at the top of each page in Twenty Eleven?

    Thanks for your help!

  • Check the Options panel under Appearance > Theme options. That should help you.

every time you make a new page, just set the featured image.

Twentyeleven is configured to use that as the new header image per post/page.

(So long as the image is big enough…. 1000px x 288px I believe)

Thanks Jeremy, but there’s nothing there. I don’t think you can change them.

in appearance->headers you can upload your own image, but that applies to all pages. It is the default header that is displayed

–the instructions I gave above still apply. If you set a featured image for a post page, it will be used instead of whatever default you have set. The default is used on archive type pages (blog list, archives, cat list, etc) or where no fetured image has been set. If a featured image has been set, it will be used for that page/post

Thanks Rev Voodoo… the default thing worked, but the featured image did not. you were right the aspect ratio needs to be 1,000×288. thanks again!

I am following directions above and its working but I want a different height size for my image on my home page and its automatically clipping it.
How can i change the height allowed for the featured image?
