 * since setting up my website I cannot edit some files and I need the .haccess 
   file for permalinks etc, so I am changing the httpdocs file to 766 as suggested
   in wordpress help for changing permissions.
 * However when I do that everything become inaccessable
 * can someone help me make all my wordpress files wriatable?

    644 for files 755 for folders
 * 666 makes files writable but isn’t a good idea to leave it there permanently (
   security and all)
