Changing Path of new Gallery not possible

    Hi!

    I use next Gen Gallery on my blog to collect all pictures of my articles to a monthly overview.

    When i write a new article i generate a foto gallery with the normal wordpress feature.
    The pictures where stored for example at “wp-content/uploads/2013/08” for the monthly overview i genereate a next gen gallery and change the source path from default “wp-content/uploads/august-2013” to “wp-content/uploads/2013/08” and scan again for new pictures.

    Then i have the monthly overwiev of all pictures of my articles.

    But i can´t change the next gen gallery path anymore.

    Have anybody an idea how to fix this?

    @linsenpago – You can change the default path to your gallery folder via the Gallery > Other Options > Image Options. You cannot change the existing gallery’s path.

    If you want to add new images to that gallery simply choose it when you upload through the NextGEN Gallery interface, or you can FTP the images into the appropriate NextGEN Gallery folder then <Scan Folder for new images> under the Gallery > Manage Galleries … menu option.

    In the past i was able to generate a new Gallery for example “November 2012” and afterwards i change the path in the “November 2012” gallery to the WordPress Path where the Pictures of the Month November are stored. Then i “Scan Folder for new images” and disable those pictures i would not show in the “monthly overview”

    Because via Gallery > Other Options > Image Options i can only change the path for all Gallerys.

    Why i can´t change the Gallery path anymore directly in the Gallery.

    I have the same problem and really hope somebody can help!

    This is very inconvenient. I don’t want NextGEN gallery to choose path for me, I have my own path, which every time is different and I was able with previous version of NextGEN to change it. Updated to the new version today – that option disappeared. Please put it back or let me know how else one can chance the path in the new version of NextGEN.
