I have noticed that when I click on an article on my blog – the website title appears as the page title at the top which is not great!

What I want to do is alter the PHP code to display the article title as the ‘page title’ and take the 1st 150 chars from the article as the article description. Am not worried about entering keywords as they are not used anymore.

I don’t want to use a SEO plugin as they are too heavy for this ‘light’ touch re-coding. I am using the Rumput Hijau Theme – any solutions?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    Hi,

Thanks for those tips. The 2011 template did display the article title correctly so is a theme bug. I will reset the plugins folder also.
