I’ve searched for several variations on this, but haven’t been able to find a solution. This could be me misusing WP terminology or my mediocre coding skills, but I’m having issues.

The site I’m working on is

I want to change the color of my pages & tabs, which are currently white. I have found topics saying to change the container color or the body color, and I have tried almost every color value I can find in the style sheet, but I can’t make the white change. The One-Column layout page references the container id and the one-column class, but editing those hasn’t given me the results I am looking for. At one point, I got a section inside of the white to change, but then there was just a white border, and the tabs were still white.

I’m sure this is just my lack of coding skills coming into play, but I’ve spent several hours experimenting and can’t get this.

  • That’s a very common problem. The tabs are photos, that’s the reason that you cannot change their colour. Use an ftp and change the mantra.png etc pictures (placed on the folder image/ on your theme) with photoshop and then upload them without changing anything on the coding.
