 * I am currently on WP.com as lauramacky.wordpress.com. I’m thinking of switching
   to wordpress.org but I’m not sure how to do this. My main concern is losing my
   followers. Do I lose the followers if I switch?

 * No, so long as you use JetPack plugin on your new site, you can transfer your
   followers, subscribers and stats.
