By default, newest posts are at the top.
I’ve got a blog where I would like the opposite, is there an easy way to flip it?
Thanks MtDew! Thought I’d have to post this a third time! 😉

I posted a hack for a button that will switch the current order, leaving other parts of the query (date, search, category, etc) intact:

Thanks. Sorry if it was an oft repeated question. Only answer I found was here http://wordpress.org/support/3/206
and it didn’t work.
Not that it is often repeated, just happened to hit it within a few weeks span. 😉 Sometimes full-text searches don’t hit as well as you’d think they might (lots of ‘false positives’ with common words!).

Thanks David, your hack is much appreciated. I have scoured the support forums though and there is one additional element I have yet to find a solution for: Is there any way to have posts from the past drop off the screen? I want to blog to the future with posts showing up in ascending order, in other words, but I want today’s post first. So that today I would have posts from 7/6/2004 onward visible, but tomorrow I would have 7/7 onward visible.
I’ve seen this asked elsewhere but I’ve yet to find an answer. It’s the one thing keeping me from porting my bloggy event-listings site to WordPress. WordPress rules by the way and it’s sparked in me a burning interest in PHP.
Thanks!
