Changing my website name: how to save links in Elementor? | WordPress.org

I don’t understand the links management in Elementor. In all link fields, we have to enter the entire page url rather a permalink like with the selector everywhere in WordPress? This one make the links safe even you change a page name, even the website name.
I will have to change a website extension (from .fr to .com) and I will face several broken links.
Someone would have an idea on how to proceed the best way?

Until then just use the search and replace plugin for WordPress and search for .fr and replace with .com.

I’m not a developper, I’m not familiar with Github and I don’t really understand the info in it. But it’s a cool thing to know people works on this problem. What does it mean in time? Weeks? Months?

I know I will have a link problem with the page links. What about the images? I mean, when I will change the name of my website (or if I migrate it), will I need to change/actualize all my images URLs ?
I read this issue (https://github.com/pojome/elementor/issues/740) and i’m very afraid because my website contains more than 200 hundred images.

Yakir, what does it mean? Will it be a private release or will it be an Elementor update? (it seems you work at Tojo, but I’m not sure)
