Changing link hover color

    Thank you for a lovely theme at the best possible price ever! I searched for a long time and found it. Thank you!

    I have been able to change the color in the menu but I am unable to find where to change the orange color. I use Firefox inspection tool but the css for this doesn’t show.

    In customizing under COLORS, I show the link and link hover colors NOT to be orange but in the dropdown (sub menus) they’re orange, in the footer, and the featured content links on the homepage are orange when you click them. I’ve changed submit buttons to my color of choice and I’m stuck.

    I am new to WP but unafraid to backup a file and try to make changes. Can you help, please?

    (I’ve read every thread in this forum. I have been very skeptical in submitting this request but here goes….I have faith, I’ll get this resolved.

    Hi,

    Simply search for this string in style.css, it is the orange color you’re seeing:
    #e05f28

    Thanks for your reply.

    I changed 20 instances of #e05f28 to the color of choice, saved it, then searched for the orange color again and it showed there were none, zero.

    I cleared my browser’s cache and reloaded the site and the orange is still there. And before hitting submit now, I checked in another browser. Still orange.

    I used the path: wp-content/themes/faith/style.css

    Looks like the menu uses another variation of orange. Try replacing this one: #e3713d

    That took care of every section except where the widgets are at the bottom. I’m scanning through css now to see how to change it.

    The last orange is #be4b3c, just in case someone else wishes to know.

    Hi,

    Since the most recent upgrade, I am trying to upload the changes made to style.css (I saved a backup just for this purpose) but I am unable to locate the style.css file using cPanel and file manager.

    Will you share the path to the style.css file? Thank you.
