• Hello,

I want to change the layout of the Kubrick theme. I want my current sidebar (right side) on the left side. And i want a extra sidebar with the possibility to add widgets on the right side. I think the page must be also edited in width.

If possible i want to remain the kubrick theme.

    My site is:

  • It would be much easier to find a 3 column theme that’s close to what you are looking for. The styling of your current site is simple enough that it should be no trouble to achieve the same look.

It’s fairly tricky to modify Kubrick to add such structural things like 2nd sidebar. (Easy to modify for simple things like changing colors, changing font sizes).

Like chrisber said, your best bet is to start with a different theme that has the layout you want (the number of columns), then modify from there.

Some themes even come with “options” that lets you choose the number of sidebars and position them. Giraffe theme is one example but that’s an older one, there are newer ones I don’t know the names.

I wish the Default theme was a little more flexible, but that’s just how it is, basically. They chose a semi-complicated theme, Kubrick, for the Default.
