Support » Plugin: WP Store Locator » Changing Layering Priority of Markers

  • Without resorting to clustering, I’m trying to force pins of a certain color to always be on top of all other pin colors. By default, it appears the “southern-most” markers are layered on top of more northerly ones.

    I thought I could tweak the CSS but the following does not seem to work:

    #wpsl-gmap img[src*=”red@2x”] {
    z-index: 9999 ~important;
    }

    Any suggestions?

    The only way I’m aware you can define the z-index is in the code itself. This requires you to be comfortable with JS, and you will have to change the core code.

    Maybe it can work with CSS, but this line is invalid ‘~important;’ ( maybe a typo? ).

    It should be z-index: 9999 !important;

    Thanks, Tijmen. I’ll give that a shot!

    (and you’re right, typo, grin)
