    My site is not in English, so “Home” is an impossible name for a page.

    I’ve read previous Q&A on changing the name of the page, but it doesn’t help. I can’t find *where* the code for the “Home” page is located (I don’t speak code, so it all looks very foreign). I’m using the 2012 Theme.

    Do not edit the Twenty Twelve theme. It is the default WordPress theme and having access to an unedited version of the theme is vital when dealing with a range of site issues.

    If you create a custom menu, you can name each menu item in any way that you want.

    <?php
     function twentyten_page_menu_args( $args ) {
        $args['show_home'] = "Hjem";
       return $args;
     }
    ?>

    But first follow the @esmi‘s instruction and create a child theme. Then put my code in functions.php file of that child theme
