# Changing Headline Date

 * Hi all,
 * I am trying to change the date when you click on the Calendar.
 * At the moment Headline is Y,m,d (2012 December 20) I want to change it to l, 
   F j, Y to (Thursday, December 20, 2012).
 * Which file do i manipulate to make this change?

 * Thanks for replying, The standard calendar plugin which WordPress has, when it
   generates the page you click on, the headline date is the section I am trying
   to change. See the image here.

 * possibly try to look into archive.php or index.php (or date.php) of your theme

 * alchymyth Thank you for your advice.
 * I have looked into the index.php, I don’t have a archive.php and I can’t find
   a date.php. You are right that it is an archive page, may there be a plugin to
   do the same kind of thing I wonder.
