Changing Header Photo

  • Hi Everyone,
I’m slowly getting up to speed with WordPress, which I really like a lot for my Web site. Currently, I’m using a theme without a header photo (RockinBlue 3COL), and want to switch to one that allows photos (Clean Copy Full 3 Col).

I’ve read the instructions posted in the WordPress site on customizing the header to insert my own photo. For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to change the generic photo.

Can someone please point me to a set of understandable instructions for doing this? I’ll be forever grateful!

    Thanks,
    Matthew

  • Here’s a pointer
Photo’s in header are used as backgound images.
Those are defined in style.css in your theme’s directory
Look for the classes that define the style for your header.
What or where they are, I cannot say because you haven’t decided which theme you are ging to use.
