  • Resolved saltd

Having a minor problem with my schools multisites instal.

Whenever a student makes a blog and tries to change the header image or background it says they do not have permission to see the page.

I am still looking at some of the options on the internet but I am in a rush to try and get this sorted if anyone can help.

Current version is 3.5 (really don’t want to update until they have done their coursework as it will cause mass panic and the end of civilization as we know it here)

  • What theme are you using? There are intentional restrictions on some theme editing capabilities. I’ll see what happens with my development installation using the default theme.

Edit: With the default theme this works just fine. Do you have a development installation/clone of the production website? You can try disabling all plugins and see if that resolves the issue.

Sorry I solved it just as I left work and didn’t get a chance to post.
Something was wrong in my .htaccess that threw it off (which is strange because I’m sure nothing has changed).
