Support » Fixing WordPress » Changing General Settings to Change the Blog Name

  • I have had a website for years. It is named: http://www.example.com. I am going to replace it with a wordpress blog.

    My host is GoDaddy.

I started a second domain called: http://www.exampleblogdev.com where I developed the blog, which is now complete.

I am going to turn off the example.com host, park the name and then assign that name to the blog. NOTHING ELSE WILL CHANGE.

Is the only change on the Worpress side of things the WordPress Address and WordPress URL in the General Setting section of the Dashboard?

THANKS FOR ANY THOUGHTS. I don’t want to accidentally take down my blog!
