Changing from Wamp to Xamp – files to keep?

  • Evening folks,
I’ve had enough of Wamp failing on me, so I’m going to transfer to Xamp. The question is, which files from within the Wamp install do i need to keep for use in Xamp so that I don’t have to recreate my local site from scratch?
    Any ideas?
    Chris

At the very least you need a backup copy of the current site’s database. I’d also suggest copying the entire wp-content folder.
