I am trying to change the text on the bottom left of the legal copy: hairobsessionz.com ” Hair Obsessionz | All rights reserved | Site powered by…” , I looked in php footer, but am not seeing it. The client wants the Powered by section removed. So I am not sure where to find this code and what to do.

  • As per the Forum Welcome, you should be requesting assistance from where you purchased the theme from. We’re not supplied commercial products so can’t really offer any assistance.

    Hope this helps.

Okay, the original people who did this for the client are not working with client anymore. So do you mean the theme creator? This is not something int he basic wordpress?

The theme you’re using is from here.

The issue is that we’re not supplied commercial themes so we don’t have any way of digging into the theme code to offer any assistance. Unless someone own’s the same theme and is willing to help out, you probably won’t get much assistance here.

Those footer credits aren’t likely to be in the footer.php file, they’re usually made difficult to remove on purpose and will likely be tucked away within your functions files, but as I don’t own the theme it’s impossible for me to know where exactly.

You can try to ask via the themes’ support page, but item customization isn’t covered via the support service.
