    Hi,
I am trying to host files on Amazon S3 (using Woo plugin).

If I edit the download link, (changing the name, file URL or both), the permissions are in tact.
That means the existing customer still has access to their download for the remaining time set.

The problem is I am trying to import the products again since I have over 1000 items and editing them individually would be too time consuming.

When they are imported the previous customer no longer has access and receives the error (No file defined Go to shop).

Only a new customer has access to the new link.

Hope I explained that well enough.
    Thanks

Thanks for your help but that did not solve the issue yet.
I did reach out to GitHub and I hope it can be resolved.
    Thank for that suggestion.

The only other thing I can think of is finding a way to change the error message from “No file defined Go to shop”.

I would like to find a way to change it to something like “Sorry for the inconvenience please use our contact for and we will be happy to send you another link for your product.

Anyone know if this is possible.

    Thank you

    Hi,
    Thanks for reaching out.

I did contact your support yesterday but was unable to solve the issue.
I was told to report the WordPress bug to GitHub and I did.

No response at this time but I’m sure they are no doubt overwhelmed with issues.

Not really sure what to do but importing the URLs is really the only solution for us to use the Amazon storage.

    Thank you
