Changing Domain Name – Considerations

I plan to change the domain name of my website. I am developing a plan to do so.

However, I am concerned about the page and post names. I imagine the change will not change the page urls. For example, here is an existing page link:

https://webdezein.com/about-me/

Because of the new domain name I expect the page name to be:

https://weiconsin-websites.com/about-me/

I’d rather not get into re-directs if I have to. Would it just be simpler to re-create the website from scratch AFTER switching the domain name?

As you can see I do not know what I do not know so would appreciate any advice.
