# Changing default settings

 * Is it possible to change the default settings of the slider?
 * I always use the same settings such as:
    Min slider height: 660% Slides to show:
   auto 0 Autoplay: off Arrow size: 70 Arrow color: blue.
 * To be changing these settings in each slider become tiresome, is it possible 
   to have these settings set up as my default?

 * [@hadines](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hadines/) currently there is no
   user interface for changing the default settings but we are planning to release
   that feature in July/August. If you have coding experience you can find all default
   settings in the `attributes.php` file in the Gutenslider directory of your WordPress
   installation and can also change the values there in PHP.
 * We will Update this thread as soon as the ui has landed.

 * [@hadines](https://wordpress.org/support/users/hadines/) we just decided not 
   to include an extra admin settings page, as Gutenberg offers two easy ways to
   get started with default settings:
 * 1. you can just copy whole blocks from the block edit menu (three dots) and paste
   somewhere else on your site
    2. Gutenslider works with reusable blocks as well
