Changing default faunt color in CSS

  • My WordPress site http://www.pacificcascaderailway.com is up and running nicely using the “coraline” theme. However, I would like to change the default text color from gray to dark blue, a color used on the engines of my Pacific Cascade Railway. From my “Dashboard” I can and have changed the background color but cannot find a way to change the default text color. Using Dreamweaver I can see many CSS files on my Dreamhost server but haven’t found a reference to text color. A helping hand pointing either to the proper Dashboard editor, CSS code, or help file will be greatly appreciated.

    Hopefully you are using a custom CSS option in jetpack — so that your changes are not lost upon updating the theme.

    If so, you would add this to the custom CSS box and change the color accordingly:

    body, input, textarea {
        color: #333333;
    }
