Support » Plugin: TablePress » Changing default display page when using pagination

    I have a table that uses pagination, i.e. it has 200 odd rows and shows them in groups of 10.

    I would like to be able to change the default page of the table when the full page loads, so that it defaults to showing page 4 for example, rather than the top of the table.

    I don’t want to change the sort order, just which page you see first.

    Hi,

    thanks for your question.

    Yes, this should be possible with a custom command for the JS library. Please add this to the “Custom Commands” textfield on the “Edit” screen of the table:

    "iDisplayStart": 30

    That will tell the script to start with the 31st entry (counting starts with 0 internally), which would be the fourth page (when 10 rows are shown per page).

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thanks very much, that works perfectly.

    P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
