Changing content upon expiration instead of redirecting

I am considering this plugin, but i would like a segment of content to be changed upon expiration instead of redirecting to a different page. Is that possible? or maybe a suggestion for another version?
For example, if i have a product offered at a special price of $50, for 24 hours, i would like the purchase button and the paragraph going along with it to then change to say $100 once the timer has expired. I would like to have all the other information in that page or post to remain the same, but just have the offer changed, and that offer could be less than a whole page.
Is that possible? or considered?
