    How can I change the color of the border/bar next to the quote from grey to the color of my choice? I tried adding the custom css mentioned in the “font color” discussion but it did not work. My site is in coming soon mode, but here is a screenshot of what I see:

    If I had to guess, I would say that the CSS in your theme is overriding the color attribute in the short code.

    I saw that your site is currently in development, but if you can put up a sample post using the short code and give me the link, I can look at the CSS and provide a solution. (The “font color” discussion’s solution won’t work here because he was trying to override his theme’s blockquote text color)
