Changing Circle Fonts and Colors on Circles (without photos)

I’ve been reviewing the posts and they have been very helpful in trying to modify my website. I’ve been searching for a post that would help me with the code for changing the color of the circles without images, and also changing the font within the circles. I saw the post where the user asked how to modify the circle color with hover, but did not understand the related code. I have Custom CSS manager.
