    Sorry it’s me again..
I try to get the „Select Google Language“ into the button, so that visitors can see that it is not a professional translation but a google translation.
But can’t find the hook to do it – replace text in function does not work…
    Could you please help me?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    AH… and I forgot:

the name of my company should not be translated (the translations are really horrible :)) There must be a possibility via php to exclude a string from translation..

    Hi Dumbo,

Thank you very much to come back to us again.

For your initial question regarding the text change, currently, it is not possible. We do have it in our roadmap, as it is something we will add in the future but it won’t be in the next release.

For the second question, which is quite good 🙂 we have created this topic here as it is a good candidate for an FAQ

    Kind regards,

I tried function replace string.. but as I don’t know your origin wording (it is not Select language) for the button I can’t change it.
All I need is the word Google somewhere in the button..
tried to change value or use :before via CSS but can’t find the correct hook

There must be a trick.. please think again pretty pretty please 🙂

You can’t find it on the source code because it is added with JS. What you can do is implement a JS function that waits until the DOM element is loaded and change its content. Try with something like this

The selector path is .goog-te-gadget-simple .goog-te-menu-value span
