# Changing an install directory

 * Hello, I have been trying to move my wordpress installation from a sub-directory
   to the root folder.
    I have copied all the files to root and gone into phpmyadmin
   and changed the url to point to my root directory. I have all sorts of problems
   ranging from time-outs,page redirects to my forum, style sheets not showing etc.
   I have done a search but cant find any posts that explain how to change directories
   correctly. I also cant find any config files that have basic installation information
   to edit. If someone could point me in the right direction, would be appreciated.
