[Resolved] Changing Administrator

  • I have found an issue with the Facebook plugin.

I installed and set up the plugin as administrator (admin = user). When I completed the website I created a new admin user to harden the site. On removing the “admin” user I now find the new admin does not have access to the plugin (looking for admin user ID = 1).
We seek an option to choose or change which user is to administrate the plugin. I design my websites for my clients and train them to manage their own sites.

Is this possible, so I can avoid going to the database each time to change the new admin user ID number or to the code to change the user to manage the plugin?

  • This is not easily possible, since the plugin stores data as meta values for the user.
